According to company information, the LaCie Enterprise Class storage solutions, with their 128-bit AES hardware encryption to US government standard, are ideal for creative professional users and for users who need to protect their data at a high level. With this proven security technology, users could encrypt digital data and prevent unauthorised access. Up to ten users can be defined with the LaCie Desktop Manager software, maintaining customised access to protect valuable data, it continues.
All LaCie Enterprice Class products are said to be supplied with special cables that ensure extremely high signal transmission quality. Manufactured with the interests of creative professional users in mind, the cables are said to feature 24-carat gold-plated contacts which, when combined with the enterprise-class drives, help to maintain the highest performance throughout the life of the product.

According to company information, LaCie’s enterprise-class product range will be available in various capacities from 1 TB to 8 TB from the LaCie Online Store, LaCie Reseller+ and LaCie Storage Partner, starting at €249 for the LaCie d2 Quadra Enterprise Class, €459 for the LaCie 2big Quadra Enterprise Class and €959 for the LaCie 4big Quadra Enterprise Class (RRP, excluding VAT).
