"Crysis 3 – Hunter Edition" will be the next release title to use CryEngine 3 from German development studio Crytek. The game is intended to be released at the end of February for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. At the Crysis 3 Community Day, Crytek presented the current features that have been added to CryEngine.

Crytek is extremely proud of the new CryEngine 3 and therefore devoted a half-hour presentation by developer Sean Tracy to it at the Crysis 3 Community Day, which recently took place in Frankfurt. The new CryEngine 3 is intended to improve the game’s graphical and physical effects in particular.

This is intended to concern fluid reflections and the behaviour of light in particular; almost cinematic effects are now intended to be achievable. All the features shown are intended to be integrated into CryEngine 3 with the next SDK update and thus, of course, also into "Crysis 3".
