Thanks to the Driven Creative Award, the good weather and the GoPro camera can now be put to lucrative use. One of the categories for which projects are to be created is called GoPro Active. It seeks short videos recorded with a wearable or mountable camera.
In addition, amateur and professional projects can be submitted in four further categories: animation, music, photography and short film. Entry to the creative competition is free of charge and open to adults in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and Russia. Each participant may submit only one work, and only original works are permitted. Copyright in the submitted works remains with the artist.
The overall winner of the 2013 Driven Creativity Award will receive prize money of 5,000 euros as well as G-Technology’s latest G-DOCK storage system with Thunderbolt. Last year, "A Fox Tale" received this prize.

In the animation, music, photography and short-film categories, a winner and runner-up will be selected among both professionals and amateurs. In addition, an audience award will again be offered this year, determined through an online vote and awarded to the project with the most votes. All winners and runners-up in the individual categories will receive high-quality, high-performance external storage solutions for creative professionals from G-Technology’s product portfolio.
