The effects are of course by ILM, directed by Gareth Edwards, already known from the films “Monsters” and “Godzilla”. The cinema release is 16 December.
For anyone who finds the wait until December for the next helping of “Star Wars” too long: there will be an extra-special “Star Wars” treat at the animago conference, because ILM artist Luis Guggenberger will provide insights into the design and concepts of “The Force Awakens”.
Anyone who wants to be there on 27 & 28 October; tickets are still available here. Students pay 58 euros, the normal ticket costs 118 euros.
