Child Jurors Wanted for the “Tricks for Kids” Short-Film Competition

ITFS is looking for film-loving children aged 9 to 12 for the “Tricks for Kids – Short Film” competition jury at its 24th edition.

Every year, the Trickstar children’s jury selected the prize for the best animated short film for children. The Trickstar for the best animated short film is endowed with 4,000 euros and is sponsored by Studio 100 Media GmbH.

Last year, the mini-jurors’ tastes were in agreement with our adult animago jury: “Alike” by Daniel M. Lara and Rafael C. Méndez from Spain received the “Tricks for Kids” award. At the animago AWARD, the film won in the “Best Character” category.

Apply now & become a child juror

The child jury members are named in the ITFS festival catalog and on the homepage and receive free accreditation for the entire festival period (May 2 to 7). Interested young jurors can send an application with a short film review to iris.loos@vhs-stuttgart.de or to bauer@festival-gmbh.de. Anyone who gets the job should be present on site from May 3 to 5, from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
