ARRI’s Stellar 2 lighting-control app expanded support beyond ARRI fixtures to DMX-compatible products from manufacturers including LiteGear, Astera and Kino Flo.
A new scan workflow helped operators replace malfunctioning fixtures. Fixtures could be grouped by colour temperature, while intensity values could be saved as favourites and reused as defaults. For fixtures with RDM support, colour-temperature information appeared in the associated setup.
The update also simplified applying looks while retaining the current colour mode, improved network handling and introduced presets for different device types.
