In nuce: Hum3D invites you to create the car of tomorrow and take your vision of the future to the starting line in the “3D Art Challenge Flying Cars”, regardless of whether your car of the future does without a driver, does without tyres or can park automatically. You can unleash your creativity (almost) without restraint in this competition.
What is required of you? You have to submit a 3D model within a 3D environment, which you have rendered out nicely. If you want the judges to put you on the winner’s podium, you should take into account the visual appeal of your future car, your thoughts on the concept, the complexity of the vehicle and also your presentation. Whether you create a car, a lorry, a bus, a pickup truck or a streamlined sports sled is up to you. However, there is one restriction: military vehicles are not permitted. What can you win? First, second and third place winners can look forward to numerous valuable prizes, such as software licences for OctaneRender, V-Ray, Corona-Renderer, KeyShot Pro, Marvelous Designer, Toolbag 4 or access to Substance 3D Collection – as well as many other prizes waiting to be snapped up by you. However, those who don’t manage to win one of the top three places don’t have to go away empty-handed, as additional prizes await even those who are denied a place on the winners’ podium.
Submission deadline: You have been able to submit your projects since yesterday, 16 March. You should send in your project by 31st May at the latest so that it can still be considered. 4 p.m. will mark the deadline on this last day.
