Media 100 Inc. introduced two new effects acceleration solutions for Adobe After Effects 5 at NAB in Las Vegas – Media 100 ICE and ICE Ultra, based on Media 100’s new BlueICE 166 engine. These new acceleration solutions deliver significant performance improvements to one of the most widely used effects solutions on the market, which is a favourite with Media 100 customers. With ICE and ICE Ultra, Media 100 provides the industry’s most powerful tools for accelerating Adobe After Effects 5. They deliver workstation-level performance from a single PCI slot solution on a Macintosh desktop computer. Media 100 also announced that it will support After Effects 5 on the Windows 2000 platform by summer 2001 at the latest.

Prices and availability
Media 100 ICE and Ultra ICE for Adobe After Effects 5 are available immediately in the English version at a price of 4,580.00 euros net (plus VAT) and 7,320.00 euros net (plus VAT) respectively. Already registered Media 100 customers can download the macintosh-based support at http://www.media100.com from the Media 100 website.
