Framepool released its second showreel in November 2002, presenting footage from locations, special effects, sports, people, nature, business and wildlife.
An alliance with Oxford Scientific Films had expanded the online agency’s collection by as much as 15 hours of new material each week.
More than 60,000 shots were available from the Framepool site in common formats, including MPEG-2 downloads and DVD-quality files for layout work. Framepool distributed OSF footage, largely originated on 35 mm or 16 mm film, in Germany, Italy and much of Eastern Europe.
The release belongs to Digital Production’s stock-footage and media-asset-management archives.
