Media 100 announced that German post-production studio Magic Eye had adopted the 844/X after participating as a worldwide beta site.
Magic Eye said the system integrated into its QuickTime-based workflow and delivered a strong price-to-performance ratio. It was used on work for Warner, Land Rover and Sony Pictures.
For a Range Rover launch documentary, the 844/X allowed repeated headline and text changes without re-rendering while also handling colour correction and design. On the comedy programme OLM!, it composited animated logos, split screens and masks in real time.
