Wellen+Nöthen completed four mobile editing vehicles for Norddeutscher Rundfunk. The vehicles, based on Volkswagen LT 35 vans, were assigned to NDR facilities in Hanover, Kiel and Hamburg.
Each unit carried Sony IMX playback and recording decks plus a modified T&S EB-312 audio mixer. An optional four-channel audio/video server could be installed for file-based work alongside the tape equipment.
On-board generators allowed the vehicles to operate independently of external power. The configuration was designed for mobile broadcast and post-production use.
