Blue Order and D.A.V.I.D. signed a worldwide OEM agreement for integrated media-management and newsroom tools. Blue Order planned to incorporate D.A.V.I.D.’s DigaMedia video-editing and browsing modules into its Media Archive enterprise platform.

The combination was intended to add high-end browsing, transcoding and editing to the media-asset-management system. D.A.V.I.D. was also developing video modules for DigaSystem, its audio-editing and radio-production environment.

DigaMedia Encoder, DigaMedia Editor News and DigaMedia Editor FX would become components of Media Archive’s Multiformat Browsing Architecture. The architecture supported MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and DV proxy formats and offered different functional views for archivists, reporters and editors.
