Roxio released the WinOnCD 6.01 service pack for WinOnCD 6 Power Edition and DVD Edition. The company also announced WinOnCD 6.01 Standard Edition as the first OEM version of WinOnCD 6.
The update added multisession data-DVD support across DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM, DVD+R and DVD+RW media. Discs could use UDF, ISO 9660 or Joliet file systems.
WinOnCD 6.01 also supported Plextor’s VariRec function. The Label Editor gained image previews for DiscT@2, a feature of Yamaha CD writers. Roxio published a separate list of corrected defects.
