At the top of the GenerationQ range for postproductions is the iQ media platform – the only solution to date that offers 2k processing in real time – according to Quantel. iQ has established itself worldwide as the technology that digital intermediates At NAB, new iQ tools for digital films are being shown, including QColor, the new low-cost option for high-quality color grading.
For mainstream HD productions, the eQ editing system has made HD formats and postproductions with different resolutions an affordable possibility. It achieves flawless HD results in the same time in which other systems process SD formats.
For the first time at NAB, the latest development from the generationQ range for the for postproduction is being shown: QEdit Pro. This PC-based editing platform with Quantel performance has created a new benchmark in terms of price/performance ratio in the NLE sector. With an entry price of 68,000 euros and equipped with the same interface and the same tool set analogous to iQ and eQ, QEdit Pro now also opens up Quantel quality and performance to the mainstream market.
