Iridas, a leading developer of uncompressed digital playback technology for the film and broadcast industry, and DVC, a major European system integrator for the post-production, digital video and HDTV markets, today announced a distribution agreement that will ensure availability of Iridas FrameCycler DDS playback solutions throughout Europe via the DVC reseller network. DVC will be the exclusive reseller in Europe for FrameCycler DDS products and will also include DDS products with its own ScreenDisk playback systems.
Iridas introduced FrameCycler DDS Infinite, the latest additions to the DDS product family at NAB2003 on a DVC ScreenDisk system with a DVI to HD downconverter developed by Miranda Technologies.
FrameCycler DDS products and ScreenDisk systems are available immediately.
