Dutch broadcaster Katholieke Radio Omroep produces television content focused on religious subjects, including current-affairs programmes, talk shows and live services, and also acquires additional programming. KRO archives this material both for rebroadcast and for preservation in digital libraries available to educational and other public institutions. Its implementation of Blue Order’s Media Archive platform follows a successful pilot in which KRO stored more than 1,000 hours of video footage, representing around half a terabyte of data. The current order includes an upgrade to Media Archive 2.9 and an expansion allowing 25 users from across the broadcaster to access the archive concurrently.
