In addition to the proven Henry Infinity, also from Quantel, Acht Frankfurt is now investing in the latest generation of equipment from the British manufacturer.

“For some time now, it has been possible to observe that HDTV, perhaps not necessarily as an output medium, but certainly as an intermediate medium, is becoming increasingly interesting. With eQ, we have the optimal tool for efficiently editing projects in HD. The computing speed of the editing and effects system is impressive, and puts us in a position to work interactively on HD projects with customers. In addition, we can integrate desktop solutions and then bring the individual elements together on the eQ,” Christoph Zapletal, Digital Artist on the Quantel systems, comments on the decision eQ.

“I am very excited about Version 2.0. With this software, compositing on Quantel systems will improve further, and offer many new options. Integrated plug-ins, process-tree architecture, infinitely many layers at every resolution, and in addition the enormous computing power.
