IRIDAS is demonstrating SpeedGrade colour-correction technology at IBC 2003. The application is designed for colour work at multiple stages of post-production.
SpeedGrade applies non-destructive corrections by attaching XML-based colour parameters to sequence playlists instead of changing source material. The XML data can be exported to asset-management, compositing and editing applications.
As a software system, SpeedGrade can be integrated into existing PC hardware or configured with hardware from IRIDAS partners to match a facility’s requirements.
IRIDAS is also showing FrameCycler 2.7. The uncompressed playback applications add higher performance, new audio-playback tools, precision timing controls for broadcast work and support for additional file formats.
