Eurosport has integrated SGT Media Manager into the central distribution system for Eurosport and Eurosport News.
Operators use the media-asset-management system to ingest video and audio, trim material, perform quality checks and manage the tape library. The platform can handle more than ten simultaneous ingests into Thomson Grass Valley video servers.
Digitised sequences can be segmented, indexed and checked, reducing preparation time before transmission.
