In addition to MPEG, Omneon now also supports Sony’s HDCAM and Panasonic’s DVCPro-100 format via an SDTI interface. To the delight of customers, existing Omneon systems can be upgraded with the new interface, meaning expensive new investments are not necessary. MXF is also now supported natively by all Omneon Spectrum Media Servers. For this, the company will show several workflow examples at NAB 2004 – for example in conjunction with Apple’s Final Cut Pro 4.
