LuraTech GmbH, one of the leading companies in the development of JPEG2000 compression methods for archiving scanned documents and images, is focusing its activities on the further development of the two JPEG2000 product families LuraDocument.jpm and LuraWave.jp2.
The fundamental strategy of offering easy-to-integrate, standards-compliant toolkits and first-class support for industry and the public sector remains unchanged. The change of ownership has no effect on existing business relationships: Because the change of company name brought no changes either to the contact persons or to their areas of responsibility within the company. Dipl.-Ing. Carsten Heiermann is Managing Director of Berlin-based LuraTech GmbH and President of LuraTech, Inc., based in Redwood City (California).
