eQ: eQ is a system for editing, effects processing, color correction and mastering for the simultaneous processing of a wide variety of formats (“Multi-resolution”), which opens up access to each of these individual business areas for companies. The result is a stable business model that – like the system – runs superbly in both HD and SD.
News & Sport: Whether for SD or HD, Quantel’s sQServer and the fully scalable editing solutions form the leading tapeless production system on today’s market. Customers include ESPN, BBC, NRK, WDR, Seven Network, the EBU and a large number of other large and small broadcasters.
Graphics: Quantel is synonymous with broadcast graphics – Paintbox is the best-known name in the business. When creativity is combined with performance and reliability, as in the time-critical environment of TV broadcasters, there is nothing comparable.
iQ: Digital Intermediate (DI) is far more than color correction (“Grading”). DI encompasses previsualization, editing, trailers and mastering at the same time. iQ gives companies the ability to cover all these fields, and to do them not only quickly but in 2K real time. The result is a DI business model that works and will always work.
