Long awaited, Crystal Vision announced the HD variant of its popular chroma keyer in time for IBC. Safire HD is suitable for above all for chroma-keying applications such as graphics inserted into live sports broadcasts. The Force Foreground functionality can be used to restrict chroma keying via the external key to the area of the image containing the graphic.
Safire HD also handles simultaneous chroma keying and linear keying, luma keying, as well as numerous tools for optimizing edge areas and shadow transitions. With the “Key Shrink” feature, the user can efficiently eliminate dark areas around foreground objects.
The Safire HD module has foreground, background and key inputs as well as two main and two auxiliary outputs each. The controls of the Safire Controller 2U Panel or the user interface of the Statesman PC system are available as control options. The product can be viewed at stand 201 in Hall 2.
