The central idea behind this new technology is that production continues to shoot on analogue film, but uses only one film stock for every shot: Kodak Vision2 500T 5218/7218. The material is then scanned and colour-corrected with the Kodak Vision2 HD Digital Processor.
Kodak’s system, shown at stand 7.729, is designed specifically for this film stock and makes it possible to create any desired look afterwards. Kodak Look Manager manages the different looks, while the Kodak Display Manager System provides calibrated display.
