Bitfilm Festival: Symposium Discusses the Mobile Media Future

Parallel to the Bitfilm Festival 2005, the mobile multimedia industry will meet on November 4 for a symposium at Hamburg’s Schmidt Theater on the Reeperbahn. Topics of discussion are trends, content and business models for mobile media: Will we watch television by mobile phone in the future? Will the animated ring video replace the ringtone? Which films, series and games work on the small screens of mobile devices? What are customers willing to spend money on?

The program schedule provides for contributions from practitioners on the subject blocks of content, marketing and the future. The schedule in detail:

09:30 – 11:00 Content for on the Go

The symposium is organized by the team of the Bitfilm Festival taking place in parallel, in cooperation with the Hamburg Authority for New Media (HAM), Studio Hamburg and Debitel subsidiary Midray. The participation fee is 45 euros (students: 25 euros). Registrations are accepted on the festival website.
