Media 100 users will be pleased to hear that Boris FX has further developed this NLE, which is also widespread in Germany, and is now presenting new versions at NAB. Based on AJA Kona hardware and the new software version 11, the new product line offers 10-bit uncompressed SD or respectively HD support depending on the configuration.

The new Media 100 family consists of three products that are to be available in the second quarter of 2006: The basic version Media 100 SDe for 2.495 US dollars processes only SD but can be upgraded to HD. Media 100 HDe for 3.495 US dollars processes both formats. In addition, the top version Media 100 HD Suite for 5.995 US dollars also includes 3D compositing, a title generator and effects. An update of existing systems is to be possible.
