NAB: Anton Bauer upgrades DV and HDV camcorders

Additional battery, on-camera light and flexible handle as camcorder peripheral products

Especially for the very widespread DV and HDV camcorders, the US manufacturer Anton Bauer has launched three products that are coordinated with one another and are intended to improve production with the small camcorders.

The Elipz 10k battery finds its place below the camera and thus at the same time improves the position of the center of gravity. The power supply is intended to last for approximately nine hours with Sony’s HVR-Z1 and comparable cameras.

Matching it, ElightZ is an on-camera light that also draws its power from the battery. A peculiarity of the on-camera light is the flexible arm between the mount and the light body. This makes it possible to use the on-camera light very flexibly.

In addition, Anton Bauer is presenting the flexible EgripZ handle. It is very easy to adjust and can thus be adapted precisely to the requirements of the cameraman.
