The range of HDV converters is becoming ever more varied: The Japanese manufacturer Edirol/Roland now offers two bidirectional converters at once with the VC200HD and VC300HD, from DV to SD component and HDV to HD component as well as vice versa. In addition, the VC300HD has an HD/SD-SDI In/Out interface. Both devices are already available. The price of the VC-200HD is 4.800 US dollars and that of the VC-300HD around 5.600 US dollars.
