The VCC group, whose companies cover postproduction, audio and cinema-film processing, has established Hamburg-based Leporello GmbH & Co KG. The company markets the web-based Leporello archive and distribution platform.
Leporello, previously covered in DIGITAL PRODUCTION 03:06, manages films, individual commercials and programme copies over the web for worldwide retrieval. VCC positioned this database-based organisation and distribution of digital image, video and audio material for advertising and PR agencies, film productions and companies.
Nabil Moghib, market development manager at VCC Perfect Pictures, said the platform simplifies review and distribution processes and enables a tapeless workflow.
Leporello also connects to partner tools. With MediaAnalyzer, customers can commission market research with results on comprehension, branding, emotion and calls to action within 24 hours, including benchmarking, so findings can be applied while a commercial remains in postproduction.
Digital watermarks can be applied to commercials, films and other moving images distributed through Leporello, including footage from electronic press kits. Through Teletrax, the company offered tracking and reporting intended to identify and evaluate broadcasts even when only seconds of footage appeared.
