“TCviewer 2.0 System – managing text & video” is an all-round program for writing, viewing, analysing and logging. The program picks up the process of video content work and is intended to relieve TV editors and film authors of a great deal of routine work. The tool comprises three editing areas: compact mode as a video player, the editor for expanded textual editing of videos and fullscreen for convenient large-image viewing.
In version 2, the editor forms the core element of the solution. All projects by TV editors and film authors are now structured and organised in this one system. Take lists with all information about the video can be created in the editor. In these story sheets, the user can log, add text to, transcribe or tag their videos, create a voice-over text and add change requests or voice notes. In this process, the takes can be jumped to directly and played, looped or synchronised. The improved control offers, among other things, functions such as jog shuttle for navigation or frame-by-frame control with the mouse’s scroll wheel. In the new version, audio recordings can now also be made directly.
Manufacturer bureau23 media also offers add-on modules for TCviewer. With the DataBase module, the software can be expanded with a database for archiving film contributions. With TCviewer Compress & Go, all project data can be combined in just one file and exchanged with colleagues.
