Da Vinci Systems is presenting a new option for its Digital Mastering Suite “Resolve” at the IBC. With version 3.4, it is now possible to integrate Cinespace’s colour-management software into the systems.
Cinespace enables the colours that the film material will have on the final print to be simulated on a monitor. This ensures that the film copy in the cinema has exactly the same colours as during work on Resolve.
For the complete chain of digital data, negative and final positive print, a 3D LUT specially tailored to the customer’s workflow can be created on the basis of a test film, enabling an acurate representation of the colours.
