At the trade show, Telecast Fiber Systems (stand 10.428) announced shipment of its current new generation of fibre-optic modules for video and audio data transfer with its Viper II series. The new 6000 HD/SDI modules are backward compatible with the Viper II 5000 modules already introduced to the market.
Some of the Viper II 6000 series modules for SDI and HD/SDI data transport are available immediately, while others are still to follow. The product line ranges from simple HD/SDI transport to multichannel transceivers and dual AES digital audio multiplexing.
