Pixelpower announced its new Logovision logo generator at the IBC. The device can process multiple animated or static logos, clocks, crawls and other graphics in SD and HD.
Logovision can also be automated to display particular logos or play animations at particular times. Operation and programming are carried out either via the front panel, or via a web browser. In operation, broadcast automation controls the device via GPI pulses, or controlled via serial or Ethernet protocols respectively.
Logovision has two video inputs, one of which is automatically looped through in the event of a power failure.
The device is intended to be ready for market in the first quarter of 2007 and cost between 5,000 and 10,000 pounds depending on equipment.
A further announcement concerns Pixelpower’s Claritz range. The Claritz 50 is now available here, which, with a price starting at 7000 pounds, is the least expensive character generator in the range. By the end of the year there is also to be the Claritz 1000, which will then run on a standard PC and is to have various software expansion stages. The price for this device starts at 14,000 pounds.
