Boxx Technologies now offers the new 3DBoxx RTX workstation series specifically for demanding tasks in postproduction. The high-end computers run with the new processors of the Quad-Core Intel Xeon 5300 series with up to 8 megabytes of L2 cache and a 1,066 megahertz front-side bus. They can be equipped with up to 15 data drives, making the maximum storage bandwidth 1 gigabit per second. Other equipment details of the 3DBoxx RTX series include:

• two PCI-X 64/133 MHz
• one PCI Express x8 using x4
• two 1394a Firewire
• two USB 2.0/1.1
• two RJ 45 Gigabit Ethernet
• two internal 3.5-inch hard-drive bays
• ten removable SATA/SAS 3.5-inch hard-drive bays
• two 5.25-inch chassis options
• two 600-watt EPS power supplies
• optional rack mount
The workstations in the 3DBoxx RTX series are also available with Dual-Core Intel Xeon configurations. Prices depend on the respective system configuration and are available from Boxx Technologies on request.
