ProSieben will broadcast selected animago Award 2007 entries during its Christmas schedule. The channel planned to show the short film “Football Toys” in the gift special of “Talk Talk Talk Fun” at 7 p.m. on 25 December 2006. Created by Pericles Michielin in animation and direction, John Lurie in music and Cristiano Pinheiro in sound effects, the film depicts a competition between two toy figures and was nominated for the animago audience award.
The stop-motion film “vErblüht” by Marco Jakob was also scheduled for broadcast, although no transmission date had been set. The love story was produced primarily with Photoshop, After Effects and Shake.
