With the SE-1000, which the company showed at NAB, Datavideo is now adding another mobile mixer unit to its product range: the SE-1000 is a 6-channel mixer that is operated either with 5 x HD-SDI or with SDI and an additional SXGA computer input. Either 3 x SDI or HD-YUV is available at the output. For mobile use, the device can be equipped with additional options, such as the TLM433 triple-monitor unit.

The SE-1000 was developed in cooperation with Panasonic, although Datavideo has also given its version of the device a downstream key. The mixer is expected to be available from May 2007 and cost 8,500 euros in Germany.

From May, the CKL-100 Dual Color LED Chromakey Ring will also provide a new chromakey unit. Like the familiar solution from Reflecmedia, the Datavideo product also works with an LED ring. However, it has green and blue LEDs, so that the CKL-100 can be switched between the two colours.
