The Aachen multimedia agency Powerflasher GmbH uses the popular reality format and relies on numerous user-friendly functions in a new Web 2.0 community: Getting to know one another, presenting and rating recipes, arranging to have dinner together or simply exchanging ideas form the main aspects of the platform.

The elaborately designed site http://www.meinperfektesdinner.de offers like-minded people a viral communication platform with plenty of entertainment. Alongside all important information about the programmes, there is a steadily growing recipe database that offers something for every taste. Dinner stories provide anecdotes, blunders, mishaps and the best entertainment from users for users. The opportunity to set up one’s own profile with interests and photo, issue and accept invitations and of course find one another in groups strengthens the site’s communicative orientation. At its heart is an extensive contact manager that leaves nothing to be desired in virtual encounters.

The current community site, which the Powerflashers implemented in design and programming within four months, continues the collaboration with Cologne private channel VOX. In the past, the Flash specialists had already successfully implemented innovative online specials for the cult series “Six Feet Under”, which had ensured very high access figures.
