The investment forms part of a wider partnership with Sony under which TVN is gradually expanding its mobile and fixed production infrastructure with HD equipment through 2008.
The newly purchased HDC-3300 will be installed in a new HD-capable outside-broadcast truck that is currently being planned. Once completed, TVN will have two outside-broadcast vehicles fully equipped for HD production.
