The winners of the “GC Video Contest 2007” have been decided: From a large number of applications, an expert jury selected the students Manja (23) and Rico (22) as the official video jockeys of GC – Games Convention 2007. Starting today, the two will produce a video every day about Europe’s major summer event. The clips can be viewed at http://www.gc-germany.com.
For three weeks, Manja and Rico will take a look behind the scenes of GC. Exclusive interviews, exciting background stories and numerous live activities promise an entertaining introduction to GC. During the trade fair from August 23 to 26, the VJ duo will also show its personal highlights, whether from the four entertainment halls or from the “GC Freestyle” festival grounds.
At the beginning of July, Leipziger Messe launched a contest for talented video filmmakers. GC fans could apply as official “GC Video Jockeys” with a short film. Precondition: In addition to computer and video games, applicants should also count filming among their hobbies.
