Profit before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) had grown by 58.4 percent to 95.4 million euros, the TecDAX-listed company announced on Thursday in Montabaur.
Without the positive effect from the online marketing area, operating profit grew to 71.8 million euros. Revenue increased by a quarter to 361.1 million euros and the surplus from 28.8 million to 45.4 million euros. Drivers of the profit growth were the web-hosting business, meaning the support of websites, as well as the broadband area. The number of DSL customers grew by 64 000 – United Internet thus remained behind the previous quarters.
