Sanyo Adds Underwater Housing for Xacti HD2

Sanyo’s EHS-510H housing takes Xacti HD1, HD1A, and HD2 cameras to 45 metres while retaining full camera control.

A 4 GB SD card stores 85 minutes of full-quality HD video from the Xacti Digital Movie HD2. The lithium-ion battery supports longer dives.

The EHS-510H uses a polycarbonate housing and exposes all camera functions for one-handed underwater operation. Large controls assist handling. The enclosure measures 176 × 124 × 143 mm, weighs 660 g on land, and has an underwater weight of 100 g.

Optional equipment includes an attachable LED lamp, underwater flash units, red filters, and wide-angle or macro lenses. The housing supports the Sanyo Xacti Digital Movie HD2, HD1A, and HD1.
