Epson introduced the EMP-TW2000 16:9 home-cinema projector with 1920 × 1080 resolution.

A 2.1× optical zoom and horizontal and vertical lens shift supported flexible installation. Six colour modes covered bright rooms through fully darkened theatres.
Connections included two HDMI 1.3 inputs, USB, component video, S-Video, RGB and SCART. The menu also offered selectable 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown.
Operating noise was rated at 26 dB. Epson supplied a three-year warranty for both projector and E-TORL lamp.
The EMP-TW2000 was scheduled for November 2007 at a recommended price of €3,499 including VAT.
