IBC 2007 began today at Amsterdam’s RAI Convention Center with the start of the conference programme. The exhibition halls then open to visitors tomorrow at 12 noon. The conference runs until Monday, September 11, and the trade exhibition closes its doors one day later.
The organizers expect around 45,000 visitors and over 1000 exhibitors, the latter a decline compared with the previous year.
Particular focuses of IBC 2007 will be Mobile TV and IPTV.
DIGITAL PRODUCTION is on the road at the trade fair and will report continuously in text and images over the coming days.
IBC 2008 will again take place in Amsterdam. The conference meets from September 11 to 15, 2008, and the exhibition halls open from September 12 to 16, 2008.
