Blackmagic Design introduced a lower-cost Multibridge Pro capture, playback and conversion system built around PCI Express.
Video connections included SDI, HDMI, analogue component, composite NTSC and PAL, and S-Video. Audio support comprised 16 channels embedded in SDI, eight AES/EBU channels and two XLR channels, with sample-rate conversion for digital audio.
Dual-link 4:4:4 SDI used the 3 Gb/s standard for SD, HD and 2K workflows. Full-resolution 2K operation reached 2048 × 1556 at 24 or 23.98 frames per second.
The system captured and played SD and HD over HDMI and handled analogue component, composite and S-Video sources.
Blackmagic also listed real-time effects support with Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro.
