As part of IBC 2007, the developer of disk-recording and infrastructure solutions presented the portable BrightDrive TxP drive syystem.
Compared with Firewire and USB 2.0, the solution allows higher speeds by a factor of up to 20. This significantly shortens transfer times for high data volumes.
The enclosure of the BrightDrive TxP chassis offers space for four drives with capacities of 1.5 TByte and allows users to ingest and offload up to two complete films at the same time.
Bright Systems will begin shipping the BrightDrive TxP this month.
