The new DigaCut ST single-track video editor from D.A.V.I.D. is making its debut at IBC 2007. The multitrack version DigaCut MT appear later this year. Both desktop editors combine the performance of the DigaSystem audio editors with the requirements of a modern tool for fast and effective video editing at the journalist’s workstation. Just like the audio editors, DigaCut ST/MT are integrated into the DigaSystem environment. This allows video material to be viewed and edited simultaneously by radio and television editors in the DigaSystem production CMS.
The audio signal can be extracted as a professional radio format and further processed in the system’s audio editors in the familiar workflow. Full integration and the similar operating concepts of the audio and video editors ensure short familiarization times and low introduction costs.
