Following the announcement in May of this year, Luxology has now announced that the latest version of Modo, numbered 301, is now available.
Modo 301 is built on a revised engine that is intended to provide greater performance and stability.
Luxology has given the application two fundamental new features: Genuine 3D sculpting and the ability to animate objects and their properties.
Improvements to Modo’s subdivision modeler make it easier for the user to design organic forms and precise solid models.
Furthermore, Modo 301 supports network rendering and offers an improved workflow.
Modo 301 costs 895 US dollars when purchased new. The update from the previous version costs 395 US dollars.
