Corel introduced MediaOne Plus as a successor to Snapfire Plus, accompanied by a free MediaOne Starter edition.
MediaOne Plus edited and organised photos and video, created album pages and slideshows, and shared or printed projects. Retouching tools covered blemishes, red-eye, tooth whitening and simulated tanning.
Integrated DVD authoring wrote video clips and slideshows to disc. Video trimming used start and end controls on a slider, while templates supplied backgrounds, frames, image stamps, decorations and layouts.
Corel redesigned the interface with clearly labelled tabs and said startup and catalogue performance could make projects up to 50 percent faster than in Snapfire Plus.
MediaOne Starter included basic photo editing, project creation, sharing and printing, plus a 30-day preview of Plus features.
MediaOne Plus was available online for €49.99. MediaOne Starter was offered as a free download.
