In his new role, he reports to Dr. Julian Weiss, Chief Operating Officer of the news broadcaster. Paul Hering began at n-tv at the end of 1995 as a freelancer and passed through various roles in technology. Most recently he was “Head of Broadcast”.
Hering is married and has a daughter. n-tv managing director Hans Demmel: “Paul Hering is significantly responsible for the digitization of the production processes and the construction of the broadcasting center in Cologne. In this way, he played a leading role in helping n-tv set standards as Europe’s most modern news broadcaster.”
