How does one decide on this or that software and hardware, how can processes be optimized through suitable infrastructure and how does one take account of the development in two years? On these and similar questions, the workshop is intended to provide decision aids that is based on experience with both small and large production companies and projects. Detached from products or brands, it offers a framework against which the own ideas and visions of the own company can be checked and development possibilities can be shown. The focus is on both new founders and companies that have been operating successfully in the industry for some time. Practice-oriented and underpinned with examples.
The lecture by Armin Ißmayer, from CAI-Systeme, takes place on 08.11.2007 from 18:00 to 19:00 hrs in the Victor Schöffel Hall at the digital ceration days in Karlsruhe.
As co-founder and head of C.A.I. Systeme GmbH, Armin Ißmayer has advised companies and educational institutions on questions of software equipment, IT infrastructure and maintenance/service since 1996. He has accompanied numerous productions as a technical consultant and most recently took over the products management of a 30-minute CGI film project.
